Situated at Algeria in the heart of the Cederberg, amidst the scenic mountain ranges, wild life, extreme heat, dusty roads and amazing troops, lies a challenging and interesting electronics base.

The base leader, Andre van der Walt and his team of cheerful helpers welcomed each visiting troop with 5 litres of ice cold energade,  heaps of hospitality, general hiking guidance as well as guidance on building electronic compasses which were then tested in a navigation game.

The purpose of this site is to share the experiences of all staff and visitors to our base. Images of visiting teams can be found on www.nssa2008.webs.com. Images of staff, visitors as well as interesting scenery can be found on this site.
